Default Re: White Sapote varieties Cuccio & Chestnut

That is very interesting to know! I've never heard of these cv's. My favorites that I grow of Casimiroa Edulis are:

-Vernon
-Pike
-McDill
-My own cross "Perfection"

The worst ones I've tasted are:

-Maltby
-Suebelle
-Mac's Gold
-Wilson's

I have tasted a wild Sapote when in Mexico which was amazing, and i brought back about 15 seeds (2 fruit), and they are growing well and about 5 feet tall, but not yet forked or fruited.
