! With various plagues (including the Panama thing) threatening to virtually wipe out bananas, nearly worldwide within the next 10 years, Technological advance may well be the only solution. Scott Nelson's free DVD, called "Growing Bananas", is in the "Main Banana Discussion" section (first thread in the list). The CD is a very comprehensive overview of the Banana industry in Hawaii.
