Musa itinerans and Musa yunnanensis are different species (both have multiple described varieties). The 40ft shade banana is Musa itinerans var. xishuangbannaensis. As far as getting one, it may or may not be around, you might be able to buy a plant with the name but its hard to know if it will be true to type.
