If you have a hard time with the hardening off process, then try to sprout your seeds in the conditions they'll be growing in right from the start, so you don't have to be bothered.

Thanks for the compliments - I do like to grow mostly everything from seed, yes. I am so looking forward to seeing how this Castor Bean plant will turn out - and whether or not it's purple...
