One thing that I despise is corporations skirting what is morally right. If Dole was operating in the USA they would have to train their workers and observe restricted entry intervals and generally follow all the pesticide and OSHA laws of the USA. Those laws are there to give the employee the respect and rights that they deserve. I cannot stand it when an American goes elsewhere and completely denies workers in another country the rights and respect that workers in their home country are given. We should be demanding that the people in other countries that provide our goods have the same rights and privileges that we enjoy here in the USA. And I am not saying that they need to get paid $7/hr or something like that either.
