Checked out the picture links posted and I think you guys are right about the white bird of paradise. I can't see a bird in the picture that I posted, but the leaves and stems do look very similar to your links. I've only seen the common orange birds and didn't realize some of the spieces got that tall. Thanks.

MediaHound I've only seen pictures of traveler palms and they are quite unique. Don't think I would have the space width-wise for one however. Sometimes I get envious of the size yards some of you guys have. I know a lot of yard work goes along with it, but still love the space and all the possiblities. Thanks again.
