What are you talking about? I was in the one with the big..... ( I don't know if I can print this). They took it down after several months! Sorry to disappoint you.
Oh! And if we are going into this issue, time and again I've not said that I'm a big supporter of them. But if you think that expressing my reporting of the reasonable service I've experienced with them is being a strong supporter, so be it. Though at times, I can get defensive after being put down for expressing this good fortune with them. I do not advocate that anyone go and rush to them. While I can understand the hesitation from many here because of the bad press on them, I don't think there's a need to be crucified for reporting my good experiences with them. I don't think anyone was on my side with my bad experiences with Going Bananas. Matter of fact, some of the comments made me feel that I was more the perpetrator than the victim. I have been doing mail order business since the late 60s, and have been receiving good service from "plagues", the likes of Michigan Bulb Co., Mellinger, The Banana Tree, and yes, Ty Ty Nursery, where with the advent of the internet, you can find a lot bad press on these. Yet, just because some of the more prominent mail order businesses like Stokes, Glasshouse Nursery, Alan's Tropicals, and yes again, Going Bananas!, who might carry more attractive and even rare plants, some people tend to befriend them in the hopes of getting in their favor. Naturally, most do get in their favor. However, there can be a tendency on those business' part to be arrogant, and ignore non-vocal patrons. I have had bad experiences with these latter businesses, and the only thing I can do is stop doing business with them. But they live on with a hero's image because of their valuable inventory. Sure, they probably please more people than they piss off. But I don't make fun of the people that had good experiences with them. Even now, I'm starting to get some unpleasnt experiences with Logee's, with whom I've been doing business since the late 60s. So now, it may be time for me to move away again.
