Amazing how much you have acomplished with minimal resources (in terms of climate that is). Colorado-state probably has nothing in common with bananas except "Colorado blanco".

Are your parents also into banana-growing? If not, they must be very tolerant! That Saba will take over the house any time :-)

One thing I have noticed is that like me, a good deal of the members here come from cooler areas. In my case, banana-plants are part of my tropical daydream, and in the summer it comes alive. Kind of a way to get through the winters.

You should be in sunny Florida, central America, or Puerto Rico, Gabe! I would imagine you will make Chiquita or Dole proud one day!
