In my experience, all sikkimensis loose their red/blacks after it gets to a certain size. You could try "red tiger", wich definately is another form than regular sikkimensis. (Grows much slower and in a different pattern, atleast at the seedling stage!)

It is also said that cooler weather brings out the reds better, such as in ensete "maurelli" wich turns almost green in tropical climates.
