Hi encore , I know those Sikkis lose there colour when they get big , So I guess growing a few smaller ones for colour would be the answer
Andrew in Holland (UKOasis) and I were in a chain nursery in Holland last year and Andrew spotted an amazingly well marked Sikkis in with a bunch of greenish ones, so I bought it and grew it all last Summer in my garden in France. It did very well and guess who got is just before we moved to the US , yes it was Andrew. I hope it's still doing well. Hence that's why I'm hoping to find a great form of Sikkis here , it would be a shame to grow a lesser plant and miss my old one every time I looked a the new one.
So fingers crossed I'm hoping to find a great one again with the help of the guys here on this fine Forum.
If you look in my gallery here at the pic labelled Ensete's (the lower part of my garden last year ) the Sikkis is in the far upper right hand corner , not a great pic of the coulour but it got to be a good size plant.
Later
Steve
