Ok, thanks for the answer Gabe! This probably means one of my Musa's I thought to be Musa yunnanensis is probably something else still,...
It did not have that distinctive red midrib shown there!

I do also have 'Indian form', complete with red midrib in young stage, but this one does indeed produce very large rhizomes.
