Common names are not very good to ID plants by, and in particular since these common names are very unusual and non-descriptive, they are really no help. Since edible bananas do not have specific scientific names either, it can very difficult to guess anything based off the name unless you know very well what plants are in a specific area and what the local names are for those plants, even then though there is a lot of fuzzyness in IDing them.

The best thing to do in your case is to post photos since these common names are not going to lead anywhere.
