I just joined and I love growing banana's.
I started out with 1 plant that died over the winter but gave me 6 pups in the fall. I then planted them and tried some inside and some outside with only the ones inside making it. The dead ones outside gave me many pups this past fall. I know have between planted, given away, potted, and lastly pups about 75 musa's off of that original plant from 2 years ago. CRAZY.
I have couple of questions:
#1- I have a 3'-4' tall musa with several pups. What should I do? Try to kill them? Leave them till bigger? I want the main plant to do well but I think if there are too many pups they will kill her later tryin to remove all of them.. Thoughts?
#2- Some of the leaves look very green but torn. It is not from the wind. It looks like they are shriveling up a bit. I have gallery pics and it told me not to add them to this but it seems as people on here do so I will put 1 up. If there isa way to liknk the pic to show up in the thread please let me know..
Thanks All
Adam
