Any soil that is not sterile unfortunately, has bugs and their eggs present....and miracle grow soil is one of the worst.

I use it only for outdoor plants where beneficial insects can keep things in check. If you're not growing plants that are prone to pests though, you may not notice any bothersome damage.

Indoor growers who are concerned about their plants being attacked by pests should bother to put out for a good clean sterile soil...especially if you're growing edibles inside.
