Can't wait to see the photo if you get a chance to post it. The dress you described is gorgeous. 
As far as pumpkin for food, I'd like to add to the pumpkin soup recipe you posted: I received an email from a high school classmate that both pumpkins and yams were very healthy foods; they were classified as Toxin Excretion Assistants. I'm sure most folks in the org probably know it.
