Need recipe for plaintains
I once attended a festival that served all kinds of food.
I purchased a dish that was green plantains that had been boiled
then sauteed with onions and butter. Not sure if there were other ingredients in the dish or not.
I barely knew was a plantain was at the time and had certainly never tasted one. I have longed to eat that wonderful tasting food again. A Hispanic lady had prepared the food, so wondering if it is a common Hispanic recipe.
Do anyone have an idea of what this recipe is or what it is called?
