Default hot weather, banana leaves folding down?

Is this normal for hot weather, bananas both in containers and ground, their leaves folding down along their length. In other words the entire leaf isn't drooping, just the green part on either side of the leaf stem. They seem to have plenty of water(ing) but still with this problem.

Temperature up to 100+ today, in the 90's much of the day.
It's 6pm and sunny side still at 101 deg in the shade.
