I did some searching in Thai. And it seems there is some confusion with the name. Some refer to 'A'ea'e' as
kluai florida dang (which translate to variagated florida banana). But the name could be synonymous with another type of banana and some nurseryman maybe don't realize there are two types. It could be a mutated local or other imported variety...
You can see some in the links below. The fruit doesn't look like 'A'ea'e' to me, but then I'm not really an expert on these varieties.
