overwintering with pipe heat cables worked better than expected,all 6 stems with pipe heating cable survived,didnt lose an inch,the remaining stems I had covered with the foam pipe insulaters and those got fried to the ground,but corms are all good ,I beleive the winter low was somewhere around -26 c. I will be keeping the cables on these and the encloser up in case of frost for another month or so.
