Wow! I worked at a Utah nursery for years that sold cactus and tropicals and they never sold anything other than super dwarfs. I tried convincing them to buy basjoo (back when it was finally starting to be affordable).
Utah has some great places to buy tropical houseplants! Here in Las Vegas, the best place is the big box stores. When I want a hard-to-find plant, i'm off to Utah or California.
