Question Question!!!!

I have a Musa zebrinus that is about 8' (overall height), and looks great... It has done exceptionally well, but I have noticed that the last 3 new leaves or so are acting strangely... I have never encountered this, but as a new leaf in unfurling, the next one behind it is "wrapped" up inside the emerging leaf... The emerging leaf on one side will not open up because of the next leaf is wrapped up in it... I have to physically tear the emerging leaf to separate the two... What causes this and how can I get it to start growing normally??? Any advice would be appreciated... I can post a pic when the next leaf start to emerge next week if needed...
Thanks in advance,
