Default Re: HELP with my over wintered plants

Musa basjoo is actually very difficult to overwinter indoors. I tried to overwinter several species and had success with all EXCEPT basjoo. For me, basjoo overwinters best in the ground (but maybe not in your zone). I also kept my Musas at about 65F in my basement with no light. I think for basjoo that is too WARM because they are not dormant at that temperature and will try to grow despite having no light or water. I think basjoo might do better in the vegetable drawer of your fridge (but that is just wild speculation).
