When I got my seeds the fruit were not only ripe but were not over ripe either. I actually cleaned the pulp off of the seeds by running them around in my mouth. The fruit had a bit of an apple/pear sort of flavor. I got a few seeds to germinate but accidently killed all but two. One I gave away (and I have no idea what happened to it) and the other is the one I've still got and have taken a few pups off of.
These plants are growig on there own,basically growing wild.Some do get irrigated from runoff others nothing till the rains come
