Frank Glavin (bigdog) thought it looked like sikkimensis but since the seeds were "warty" he felt it was most likely a hybrid. It is cold hardy for me in zone 7 with mulch and although the main pseudostems always rot, the pups always make it. This should be a good year because we had an early warm up and quite a bit of rain. This is a small pup from a few years ago showing the leaf color that they have when small.
