I feel your pain
I bought this house many years ago . It was built on top of a parking lot for farm machinery. Then when the contractor decided to build on it he pushed all the garbage from his construction company into this lot and placed the house on top of it
So I rented a back hoe and dug it up then hauled in some top soil. This was years ago when it was not to expensive to do things like this .. Today it would need a license and a survey plus MONEY galore …
Haaa ... I see pitangadiego has mentioned drainage.. I would consider that hole just like a pot above ground. Best of luck with it
