It's taking about the same time as Bananas. 2yrs give or take. This one was planted at the same time as the other variety that I already ate a while back and it's just now starting to send up the fruit. It was partially uprooted a couple times from my dogs playing ball so that may have something to do with the longer time to fruit. All of my pineapple plants were slips that I bought on ebay.
