It is not possible to ID what it is with any certainty. It needs to flower and then we could ID. The reason it is short is because it is in a container outside of the tropics, and we could only be sure it was some dwarf type if we knew how tall it gets when it flowers. Even an extremely tall banana will stay small in a pot. The reason it has so many suckers is because the main shoot died, and so all of the axillary buds began to grow and produce many suckers. They are so small and thin because they are all crammed together in one small pot.
