Default Re: Dwarf Namwah flowers in Nov - Ai yai yai yai yai!

Great formula Charles!! That was a dwarf Orinoco I carried upstairs. Anything bigger - forget it.

Thinking back, it would have been a whole lot easier to bring up the plant bareroot and then put it and the soil in the pot once it was in the tub. But I was younger then ..... and it was a very good year --- blah blah blah.

From earlier bouts of lower back pain I learned from a Chiropractor how to prevent problems berfore it's too late. After finishing laborious tasks involving bending over, planting on hands/knees and digging holes immediately use the ice packs. He prescribed using 2 Chiropractic ice packs that are kept in the freezer at all times.

With only a thin t-shirt between your lower back and the bed lay on the first pack for 20 mins. You will make a lot of noise for awhile. Warn the family and the dog. Then 20 mins off, followed by 20 mins on with the second pack. Repeat this procedure before bed if you feel you have to. This will prevent problems later and avoid a visit back to the Chiro guy -- only to be told to do the 20 min on-off-on thing again. And "that will be $35.00 please".

Since then I have never had to see another Chiro. When the packs wear out just get a pair from another Chiro guy.
