The turtle... daughter got him about 8 years ago and named him Turquoise, then we found out he was a male so his name changed to Turk. He's a yellow bellied slider and a terrific pet. Messy, but fun to watch and fairly easy to care for. I loved it when we built the pond for him, and was even happier when we got to bring him back in when night time temps lowered.
Kylie, I had 2 red earred sliders but they were too aggressive so I gave them away. They went on a feeding frenzy in the middle of the night, killing all the goldfish that had at one time shared a tank with Turk. What a mess that was!
PAJ... all my first flowers fell off, but now I have a few that so far, so good. Not that it really makes a difference considering it's not long till the first frost.
