Hi Noname,

Neither do you state your name (not important) nor where you live (quite important).

I know absolutely nothing about avocados other than, what they taste like, but since nobody
else has replied to your post, I believe, that it is reasonable for me to enter a guess.

I live in a semi arid region and have seen similar symptoms on tropical plants, which could not
take the dry and sometimes windy air here. Watering a lot does not help, if the plant is used
to a humid environment.

I had to give away one of my most precious possessions, a Spiral Costus, because I could
not provide the required humidity. Its leaves looked just like those on your avocado.
