Hello all,
Just planted three varieties of banana here in North County San Diego and wanted to know when it is safe to fertilize. They were planted about a week ago and were stressed out from the move and the heat (I used chelated vitamin B1 to help with root shock) but are stabilizing now i think. one of the plants is down to only two leaves
. I have an interesting set up and location, but i need to know when i can feed them and what fert is best. I hear great things about milorganite, but the thought of feeding my bananas with processed human sewage is kinda gross. Also i have a big Rottwieler; will him unleashing his morning rain destroy my fruit salad hopes? Thanks for the help guys.
