Welcome Mskitty. I know exactly what you mean by these plants being addictive! I saw a banana the end of July07' and it seems like iam having an obsession with these beauties. I dont know if its the height, big leaves, colors, the actual growth of a real banana! I don't know! I mean Iya always liked bananas all my life, but i like steak.......and surely dont want a cow! a chicken either for that matter! Now I have 14 new kids at once, and we were empty nesters!:06:

Also have to mention iam also attempting to grow bananababies from seeds !!!! Thanks Randy.

And Iam surely a newbie. Heck I got a musa basjoo that Iam OVERWINTERING!!!!!! I never heard the word before end of Jul07! Shoot never heard of overwintering either {chucklechuckle,laughlaugh}
