Those leaves will die and that is normal after transplanting. As long as there is some green I would just let them be as there is still some photosynthesis going on. Careful with watering as long as the root system is not developed. But mycorizae or superthrive can speed that up a bit.
What is your soil? You mentioned that you have added sand, but bananas also love organic matter like compost. Mulch them over.
