Default Re: Is Musa Calif. Gold profilic or not?

Okay I thought you were out there in the far east. Most any fertilizer will work, main thing I found out is with my soil I needed more acid, which my cali golds love, and I use Azomite because it has a good amount of micro-nutrients. I have had better results with using Azomite on my newly planted and I use it in my containerd plants with good results. Maybe get a soil analysis to see where your soil is at and then that might give you a better picture of where you are at and what might be needed in your area.

I live in a coast side of central Japan by the Pacific ocean, of which climate

I grow almost all bananas in a 60liter(abt16gal) container, and I give liquid
frtilizer of 55 almost every weeks and I see this works well to ther bananas except Calif. Gold.

This, in fact, is the fundamental reason why I started to wonder if this banana
could be unprolific.
