They are all starting to bloom. I was kinda suspicious that they might have had that. Should I collect seeds from them or will they pass on the virus through seed also. I just recently planted other types of cannas but no where near these
Will they still be able to infect those even though they aren't close
Thank you for your help

Unfortunately, you should destroy them, Aphids, whiteflies, etc. spread the virus. If they do make seed ( A lot of hybrids dont) They most likely wont be true to type. One of the canna virus has been known to be transmitted by seed. I know this is true because I got some seed online of canna Robert Kemp, and sure enough after about a month it started showing signs of infection while in quarantine. The others are probably okay, if they were not infected to start with. Any place you buy them in a local store is most likely to be infected. Just check them occasionally for symptoms. Don't destroy them if they get a few blotches or marks as this is normal from time to time due to environmental factors. It really sucks because there are so many awesome types out there infected. I still grow them from seed I purchase online, but just keep an eye on them for awhile. Before you destroy them, you might want to compare to photos online, but I am pretty sure they are infected.
