Is this the first year that you have done this or have you been getting those results consistently year after year with both of those banana plants at your last property and this new one ... just curious.

I have Bordelons that ritually fold up each day in the heat and unfold after the sun goes down.

I can post a pic if it helps diagnose your challenge.
Also my Siams are not the most cool tolerant of bananas they love the heat and indirect sunlight; but hate coming indoors for the winter. They are my only plant which dies back to the corm.
I hope yours sort themselves out soon.
