Yes, the rachis is normally mostly clean in tall Namwah, but sometimes the floral relicts hang on for a while. Give it some time and see what it looks like. Also, "medium Namwah" ("Misi Luki") retains floral relicts beneath the female fingers and down for a foot or two before the rachis becomes clean. And Dwarf Namwah has floral relicts down the whole rachis below the fingers.
