I use ChromeCast to do this. It will work with any TV that has a HDMI port. Its super cheap for how good it works. I highly recommend a ChromeCast. I also suggest installing Plex for viewing movies/music/picture ect that may be stored on you computer.
What I would do. First, Unplug the TV, router, switch and modem for 90 sec. After everything reboots try again. If you have the same issue, Update Netflix from the app store, reset phone(try again). Next step would be to confirm if the TV needs to run a firmware update. There is a chance that the TV did an auto update that does not work right on your model. If that is the case you will want to uninstalled the newest update and turn Auto update off.
That should help you. When my ChromeCast starts to act like that a reboot fixes it all. But "Smart TV" kind of gets you stuck, you really cant just change out the parts. But if this does not help contact Vizo, if you are still in warranty they will replace. If not, buy a ChromeCast!
