below is one of four s.d.c. i spent 3 years and fruited four plants and still haven't eaten them.. my gh temps were less than favorable, 26-27f. i gave up and moved on to something i could grow to eat.. used 30 gal containers.
container grown to fruit, so far i've seen: super dwarf cavendish, dwarf cavendish, grand nain and ice cream..
folks grow for differnet reason as i grow for the sweetness of the fruit,
some grow for foliage.
what i've seen is that bananas can fruit in containers, the fruit and bunches will be smaller.
