There are so many organic plant foods that I didn't mention like Bat Guano! I try to grow "Veganic" when possible. This is a term coined by a friend several years ago as a standard of growing that includes workers rights, using only organic plant matter for composting, no genetically modified products, etc, etc. This was done in reaction to the government f-ing the word and the certification for "Organic" when used on the labeling for human or animal food.
Ya, I guess you can say I like my food organic in the true sense, not the new chemical corporation and government friendly, scratch my back I'll scratch yours sense.
