Lowe's supplier for fruiting bananas (and other subtropicals) in the western U.S. is LaVerne Nursery Inc. It is LaVerne that prints the labels for Lowe's. Decades ago LaVerne ordered Goldfinger from a tissue culture supplier ( AgriStarts). At the time, AgriStarts was selling Dwarf Namwa as Goldfinger. LaVerne has kept propagating that cultivar under the name Goldfinger and even their sales manager can't get them to change the name. |
Richard I thank you very much for all your knowledge about Laverne Nursery and Lowe's.Anyway I have no worries because these should be good in my garden. I'm looking forward to some banana's whatever they are.
