Default Re: hurricane bananas

I doubt it. Not by me anyway. When they get 3' or so they are super easy to tell apart. The real ice cream will be totally green. Namwas have a pinkish tint to them. Tall Namwa is an excellent banana. I have one this year about 17' and 65" around at the base. It's fruiting now. Perfect timing for frozen bananas this winter. Lol.

My real ice cream I got this year from a member on here. That is about the only way to get one via a pup from a memeber here who has fruited it to confirm it's the real deal. Most people who I've talked to who owns both prefers the Namwa over the real ice cream. Hopefully I will be able to compare the two next year.
