What I'm actually experimenting with should have some commercial value but the early blooms were unintended. I realized it was a possibility so I specifically chose plants that I thought were young enough that early blooming would not be a problem. Onced it was obvious I chose poorly I just decided to collect the available data. I've always been curious if the fruit would mature properly and how they would taste, which thankfully was great.

I'm not in a rush so saving a few months to get a smaller bunch is not an acceptable tradeoff for me, but for folks with a short growing season a smaller bunch is better than no bunch at all.
