Thank you but you did not burst my bubble whatsoever. Before disturbing the roots for the picture, the seed was clearly producing solid portions which were protruding from the eye. Last time I checked, rot does not function in that manner (as observed in the picture you referenced). Also, it's *radicle*, FYI.
