If you can handle them at full height, then good. But I would cutting the pstem to 4 ft would make moving the plant a little easier. .... The roots are not very deep. Just loosen the soil about 10" to 12 " from the corm; then slip something under the corm to lift and rock the corm back& forth until it rolls out of the hole. Some roots will brake off, but they will grow back. ... The plant will be showing new leave in about 10 or 12 days after replanting (may be before).
