Cavendish (that I have the most of) and the beetles enjoy the edges of the leaves. Yes, they are dark brown hard shelled beetles that have a shinny green on them. They will devour a rose in minutes. Sevin has changed it's formula and not as fast acting or good as the old Sevin. You think they are gone and then another big 'hit' to everything in their way.
