... This is exactly the way corms in trouble try to save themselves by pushing pups for new roots before their stored energies are depleted.

Thank you for your advice, suggestion buddy!.....I really appreciated!...It looks like a pup but the one that is pushing out is the main corm!....Instead of coming out straight up from the center, it burst out thru the side of the corm!....A new growing point!....It happened to me before!....I separated 2 nubs/pups from the huge Ele'Ele corm before planting it in a pot to make sure the huge corm push out!....
