Default Baby banana plant stuck in transit...Is that bad?

I ordered my first plant, a dwarf namwah, it's a small tissue cultured plant. It was supposed to be delivered today, but the tracking says it is delayed, with no info about where it is or when it will be delivered. It's already been in transit for about five days. I'm worried being in a package so long would kill it. Should I be worried? What do I do once I receive it? A temporary one gallon pot is filled and ready to plant it whenever it arrives. I assume it will need a lengthy hardening period in the shade, maybe?
