Well the ones we have here have large heart-shaped leaves, flower once in the spring on bare wood, and form huge widespreading trees with massive branches. Say 40ft high and a spread of 60ft with thick low branches - a treeclimbing childs dream. Don't sound quite the same - but if you can pin down what they are - I am really interested!
