Joy Droopy Banana * Help

Hey Y'all! My banana plant has been flourishing the past couple months of me owning it. It shoots out a new leaf every week. I fertilize it fairly often and water about every day/ other day. Im new to owning a banana plant. So here is my question, is it normal for the outer leaf to become droopy and yellow? Seems the lifespan of these leaves is around 3-4 weeks before becoming droopy and yellow. Ive just been cutting them after they droop. I have it in a temp regulated room with artificial sunlight. Should be ideal but not sure if im doing something wrong. TIA 🙏
